Die belgischen Ardennen erstrecken sich über die Provinzen Namur, Lüttich und Luxemburg, sowie einen Teil der Provinz Hennegau. Es gibt also zahlreiche Wandermöglichkeiten – die perfekte Spielwiese für alle Freunde des sanften Tourismus. Durch den Wald, über Felder, vorbei an Städten oder Dörfern, am Wasser entlang oder über felsige Bergrücken - es gibt für jeden Geschmack etwas.

This walk takes you along the heights of Virelles to discover remarkable views over the lake and its exceptional and well-preserved nature reserve. The views over the Virelles lake are worth the detour. In this place, the different areas that make up the 80 hectares of the site can be seen: the southern area, for recreation and to raise the public’s awareness as well as the areas covered with reed beds, or that are wet and attract birds, such as the different sedentary species or seasonal species that migrate with the seasons.
