Die belgischen Ardennen erstrecken sich über die Provinzen Namur, Lüttich und Luxemburg, sowie einen Teil der Provinz Hennegau. Es gibt also zahlreiche Wandermöglichkeiten – die perfekte Spielwiese für alle Freunde des sanften Tourismus. Durch den Wald, über Felder, vorbei an Städten oder Dörfern, am Wasser entlang oder über felsige Bergrücken - es gibt für jeden Geschmack etwas.

Along the circuit, the landscape varies from the marshes around the village of Vierves-sur-Viroin to the dense forests where oak trees grow alongside hornbeams, amidst dry grasslands and meadows. This mosaic of habitats is a blessing for many animals and a real pleasure for walkers. Certain natural habitats such as Roche Madoux are typical of the Natura 2000 site.
