Nécropole de Gohimont (Gohimont Necropolis)

In the footsteps of Celtic footprints, a pear tree and a remarkable hedge to discover.
On this walk, you will certainly tread the same ground as that used by the Ardennes Celts !
Indeed, you will walk around the site of a Celtic cemetery. The archaeological material discovered here is one of the most remarkable in the Belgian Ardennes. Although the site is no longer visible today, a signpost will tell you more about it.
During your walk, you will also have noticed some remarkable hedges and trees, including pear trees. The fruit of this tree, which is very local, was already eaten by the Celts.
A publication about the excavations on this site is available at the Celtic Museum in Libramont and at the Tourist Office in Léglise.
