Es gibt also zahlreiche Wandermöglichkeiten – die perfekte Spielwiese für alle Freunde des sanften Tourismus. Durch den Wald, über Felder, vorbei an Städten oder Dörfern, am Wasser entlang oder über felsige Bergrücken - es gibt für jeden Geschmack etwas.

Take the stairs at the foot of the imposing Saint-Ursmer church, the doyen of the kingdom’s churches that is still active. Go through the porch that enables you discover the streets of the mediaeval city, and guides you to the religious building. Open the door. The light and sobriety contrast with the small crypt. When you leave, stroll through the mediaeval garden by the Romanesque tower. The walk continues to the Sambre through the wood and countryside. At the end of the walk, pay attention to the small Baroque details of the Portelete, and walk past the Abbey farm, which was founded around 654 by Saint-Landelin.
