In the heart of the countryside in Boignée

Starting from Place de Boignée, you'll discover several chapels, traditional farms, and localities. You'll cross our countryside and, on either side of the paths, you'll pass fields of beets, a typical regional crop, or fields of potatoes or wheat. Your route will take you to the old galoshe factory, a relic from the beginning of the last century. Craftsmen made galoshes there, which were sold throughout the region. This craft enjoyed a boom in the past thanks to the railway line that passed through Ligny.
