Par Monts et Vallées (Hike 1)





From Naninne station, follow the road to the neo-Gothic church of St. Lambert.
After passing the football field, take a nice path down into the Dave woods (not far from the Dave Fort, one of the nine fortified positions in Namur), until you reach the level of the

From here you can see Dave's Island, one of the largest in Belgium, a nature reserve located in the Natura 2000 protected area.
On the way back, you pass by the Saint-Martin Church (16th century) based on an old Romanesque building, and the Castle
of Dave.
Before reaching your starting point, you cross one of the many "Piscinte", which means in Walloon "small narrow road that can only be travelled on foot".
After your visit, take a look at the Strawberry Museum on the other side of the Meuse in Wépion.
