The Joli Bois in Athus

This is a lovely, easy walk at the heart of the Bois d’Athus in a splendid beech wood adorned with orchids, which benefits from Natura 2000 status under the European Habitats Directive intended to promote the protection and management of this natural heritage.

From the path, you will also spot the village of Guerlange, nestling on the other side of the Macignos cuesta of Messancy.
