The Bois Haut in Halanzy
This walk on the steep slopes of the Bajocian cuesta will take you into one of Belgium’s loveliest beech woods adorned with orchids (which also has Natura 2000 protected status). The forest undergrowth also reveals its mining past with the old minette mine (Lorraine iron ore).
Start: in front of the local authority building in Halanzy village square.
