Discover the exceptional heritage represented by the Forges de Mellier.

This walk combines the discovery of natural heritage, the Ardenne forest, and industrial heritage, the Forges de Mellier. At the place called "Cul de l'Oye", you will have the opportunity to picnic, not far from the Jeanty Cross, erected in memory of Jacques Jeanty who died accidentally at this place in 1966 at the age of 11. From there, you will reach the Forges basses de Mellier where a beautiful little path offers a view of the Forges hautes, before returning to the village.

If you feel like it, a short diversions to the high forges is a good example of the architecture and industrial activity of the past.
