At the foot of the slopes of the Lhomme valley, a path with charming bridges runs along the banks of the river.

You get there via the Petits Ris (dry grassland) and the Hambai sites. The forest here consists mainly of maples and bird cherry. These species provide a rich undergrowth of foxglove and wild thyme.

The Pont des Clôyes is an ideal spot for bird watching. Bring binoculars to see the mallards, herons, magpies and kingfishers that inhabit this spot.

On the bank of the Chemin de Mirwart, overlooking the river Lhomme, many fern species grow. Also ivy and hawthorn can be found here. Although not very visible, there are springs near the path.

From Les Minires to Bure, you will find the peculiarities of the Thiers de Bure hill (a hawk spot), the Pont de Fornès, which spans the Lhomme, the viewpoint over the valley, as well as the remarkable heritage features in the description of the Bruyères trail.

This signposted walk is included on the Tellin walking map, available for €6.50 from the Tellin Tourist Office and the Maison du Tourisme de la Forêt de Saint-Hubert.
