Magiru Walk
Walk from the Esplanade de l'Abbaye towards the heights following the small stream Le Magiru. A difficult climb along the stream.
You then arrive at the top of the mythical Stockeu cycling hill to discover the stele dedicated to the cycling champion Eddy Merckx.

This stele pays tribute to the greatest cycling champion of the 19th century: Eddy Merckx.It is located at the top of the Stockeu, a steep hill of 2.3 km with an average gradient of 9.9%. It is included every year on the route of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège cycle race.Eddy Merckx has climbed it several times and has won Liège-Bastogne-Liège five times.
