The peaceful hamlet of Hèvremont, first mentioned in the 12th century, consists mainly of farms and houses built of limestone and sandstone rubble. This very rural village, crossed by the Bovegnée stream, stretches along vast green expanses surrounded by the oaks and firs of the Hèvremont woods.

Every path and track is an invitation to relax and discover this natural environment. Wild flowers and plants, woodland fruit and red-legged frogs are all on offer to those who pay close attention.

The ‘black, yellow and red circles’ walks starting from the Chapelle Saint-François d'Assise are very accessible, even for the youngest walkers, and have very few changes in altitude. Ideal for a short getaway, they invite you to listen, smell and taste all the richness of this landscape. And if you're the owner of an adorable pooch who, like you, loves to run around, we recommend the ‘yellow circle’ walk, as there are no stiles to climb.

Take a break, recharge your batteries and let yourself be overwhelmed by the tranquillity of this splendid village nestling at the foot of the former capital of Limburg.
