Blanches Pierres (Hike 6)

Starting from the Marche-les-Dames train station, this walk takes you on a 6.5 km loop.
You can quickly admire the old castle of Arenberg, property of the Belgian army since the end of the second world war, being today part of the headquarters of para-commando.
You will then see the Abbey of Notre-Dame du Vivier, a former listed Cistercian monastery which has recently been renovated to become a cultural place where you can spend some quality time. Within it, you will find gites, restaurants, a farm... Many events are organized there: guided tours, festivals, concerts...
You can also take advantage of the numerous viewpoints on the valley along the wooded path you will take.
The return journey is made by the road (very busy!) along the Meuse river and the rocks which overhang it, notably the King Albert rock.
