A steep climb at the start of the hike leads you to the viewpoint "les 8 Semois". After this effort the hike continues along wide forest roads and passes by the Chêne à l'Image : a remarkable oak tree.
Part of the way back is along the road connecting Bohan to Sugny. Back through the forest and after a final climb, a narrow path descends steeply back to the village.

Le Chêne à l'Image
The Chêne à l'Image stands at an altitude of 395 metres, on the edge of an old ridge road that runs from Bagimont to Membre. It is located in one of the forest areas of the Lower Semois, on the left bank of the river. This tree is imposing by its size and the development of its branches. It is estimated to be two hundred years old. A few metres above it is a statue of the Virgin Mary. This pious image justifies the name given to this oak in 1980.
