Chapelle Sainte-Face
People suffering from skin complaints should soak a handkerchief in the spring water and apply it to the affected area. After praying to be cured, hang the handkerchief on the nearby hedge. A well-established tradition!

Bois du Grand Bon Dieu
Take a stroll in this woodland and enjoy a cultural interlude with the "Contemporary Arts in a Mediaeval Setting" tour and/or keep in shape with the sports activities on offer.

Belfry of Thuin
Inscribed as a Unesco World Heritage site in 1999. Everything can be visited with an opportunity to discover the mechanism of the clock, the carillon and the bells. At the summit, 4 recesses offer an exceptional view over the Sambre and Biesmelle valleys. A film will tell you the story of the restoration year and panels in three languages will supply more information about the history of the Belfry and its World Heritagepartners.

Hanging gardens
These terraced gardens were developed over time as the ramparts were built. They offer walkers a varied trail dotted with a series of information panels (French & Dutch).
