Bienvenue Vélo and Accueil Vélo are two labels that guarantee a warm welcome during your cycling trip in the Ardennes. When travelling by bike, you have specific needs: a place to park your bike, a generous meal, assistance in case of problems and detailed information on cycling routes. In the Ardennes, various establishments have been awarded the ‘Bienvenue Vélo’ (in Belgium) and ‘Accueil Vélo’ (in France) labels. A guarantee for a peaceful stay.
Bienvenue Vélo
The ‘Bienvenue Vélo’ label is widely used in the Belgian Ardennes, with nearly 800 service providers. Accommodation providers, visitor attractions and producers all look after passing cyclists. All offer at least a place to park your bike, tools to help cyclists in case of need and various cycling tourism documents. Most also offer additional services, such as balanced meals or a luggage transport service.

Accueil Vélo
The ‘Accueil Vélo’ label certifies various types of establishments located near a cycle route. This criterion distinguishes it from the Belgian label, which is more flexible. The French Ardennes has around thirty providers: bicycle hire and repair shops, accommodation and restaurants, as well as sites such as tourist offices and museums. They have done everything possible to give you the best possible welcome during your visit.
