Longer or shorter tours. For experienced sports cyclists or for inquisitive tourists. With stops for team-building exercises or for visits. Starting and ending at his B&B or elsewhere.
His two-bedroom "Bike-B&B" is equipped with everything required to store, clean and repair bikes. Alain loves serving his guests breakfasts containing local, seasonal, organic produce. As a sustainable tourism host, he also promotes these producers on his cycling tours: the refreshment stops at the Lesse and Saint-Monon breweries are much-appreciated by his guests, as are his explanations of history, heritage buildings, archaeology, the Count's castle at Rochefort, the archaeology park at Malagne and the Château de Lavaux-Sainte-Anne.

André and Christel are in charge of the family farm at Hargimont., where they have a farm shop selling their produce (meat, hay, potatoes) and other local produce. But Alain Vandenplas takes us there to see their work with fruit.
At The Orchard Next Door, individuals can bring their apples, have them pressed and leave with bottles of their juice. André and Christel also sell their own fruit juices, which vary according to the season. in late spring and early summer you'll find apple & strawberry, while in autumn you'll find apple & pear, apple & quince, etc. A real treat, in sync with nature.
Alain Vandenplas serves this juice with his breakfasts: "I keep a stock because almost all of my guests want to buy some bottles to take home with them. The fact that they're not organic is irrelevant, because they taste so good, it's local and seasonal."
