Reconnecting us with the natural world. Everything that Marie does at Explorers' Farm works towards this goal. Courses and workshops for children aged 4 upwards immerse them in a world made up of grass, tree trunks, creepy-crawlies and bigger animals...
Awakening children to the myriad treasures of the earth. She works with schools to create tailor-made activities. For adults, she organises basket-weaving workshops, and sessions to make household cleaning and well-being products… Always reconnecting.
Families can stay overnight in the gîte, an other-worldly place filled with daylight that she built herself. If they want to, they can join in the activities. "Help a generation of parents reconnect with the earth and demystify it for them, without being afraid of letting the kids get dirty." Better understand the natural world so as to respect it more. This is what feeds Marie's projects every day.

In the centre of the town of Neufchâteau, on the Grand-Place, a small shop offers opportunities to introduce consumers to local, organic, sustainable products. Brought together in one place are bread, fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese and other dairy products in the chiller cabinets. In addition, there's a fine choice of general groceries with a "free-from" corner for products for those on special diets: gluten-free, lactose-intolerant, sugar-free, vegan, etc.
The shop also stocks natural bodycare and household cleaning products, essential oils, Bach Flower Remedies, cook books and kitchen utensils and the Semailles range of organic seeds, plus flower pots and bedding plants. Everything is guaranteed to respect the producers, consumers and the Earth, because the shop is a member of the Réseau Solidairement, ("Solidarity Network") which brings together local producers and retailers in a spirit of solidarity and sustainability.
