Cap Nature

Muriell Smeets

Adventure. Exceeding your limits. Respect for the countryside. On the seven “accrobranche” trails offered by Muriell Smeets and her team, memories are made. Moments suspended and hesitations too.

Park at Cap Nature

For Muriell, welcoming and supporting her clients are at the heart of what she does. The trails have been designed so it is easy for instructors to intervene if required, with quick-escape routes if participants panic. But also to allow participants to try again and to enjoy the zipline that ends each trail. It’s ideal for families, school groups, team-building or for groups of friends: the main thing is to have a great time going beyond your limits together and to gain the satisfaction of seeing participants reconnect with themselves and with others as they face the challenges.

Under this adventure area is hidden the “Heart of Slate”. Situated 25m underground, its gigantic halls, tunnels and mine wagons bear witness to the little-known industrial past of slate mining.

Muriell recommends: Le Cellier du Baudet

This agri-tourist establishment is a haven of peace where you can recharge your batteries with your family. Céline and Sylvain are not short of ideas to encourage you to relax in sync with nature in useful, sustainable and supportive ways.

Why not stay in the “Cab’âne de Bon Papa”, perched 10m above the ground between an oak tree and a birch tree. A 60m² cocoon, of which half is a terrace, with delightful views. Those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground can sleep in the hay in the former stables.

Céline and Sylvain also offer themed donkey rides exploring the Munos valley.

They also are working on some large-scale consumer projects in the buildings formerly used as an abattoir in Bertrix, where they are setting up a collective work tool for food producers and preparers which will sell direct to the public, ensuring minimum food miles.
