Annick Adam has converted three bedrooms in her beautiful home, restored using local materials and supplied with green energy, for use by Bed & Breakfast guests.
Particularly popular with families and couples, the large, welcoming garden has many quiet corners where you can relax or have fun. Sometimes you can fish for trout in the pond, then grill them on a barbecue. For breakfast and set dinners, Annick and her husband prepare local produce supplied by their network of local producers. While the drinking water comes from the tap, the beer comes from the Oster brewery in a neighbouring village.
Annick will soon qualify as a nature guide and she loves to give tips to her guests on local walks, usually accurately guessing their interests. Perhaps a walk to meet some villagers or a hike in the forest? Or perhaps a fun walk looking for old postcards? Annick always gives her guests an unusual, authentic experience.

The Oster brewery
In the nearby village of Oster, a micro-brewery has been set up in a former farmhouse. It produces three three beers that undergo a secondary fermentation in the bottle: a "blonde" (7.2% alcohol), a "dark" (8%) and "Vienna" (6.2%). Annick Adam thinks they are exceptionally good, and is proud to serve them to her B&B guests. Especially as they are not sold widely.
The beers can be tasted at the brewery's tavern by the fire, or on the terrace with a platter of cheese and salami. Two water mills are used to grind Belgian organic flour, with which Christelle bakes artisan bread in a wood-fired oven every Friday.
The brewery also regularly plays host to live music. What Annick Adam also likes about it is that it brings together local residents and tourists in a convivial atmosphere for memorable encounters.
